Driving cab unit for commercial vehicles - has driving seat and all controls pre-assembled to form single unit

The unit consists of a hollow base (2) upon which is fitted an adjustable driving seat (3) and the steering column (9). A desk like bearer (5) carries the instrument panel (7) and control pedals. Air openings (11, 12, 13) are provided in the bearer for heating and ventilation system. The bearer (5) leading edge is shaped to fit the front panels of the vehicle. The complete unit is pre assembled and fitted to either a fixed or rotatable bearer in the driving cab. Flexible cables, free leads and control rods are respectively coupled to the base pedestal.
