<p>The noise screen wall is esp. suitable for providing protection from traffic noise along a road or other traffic route. It comprises a lattice structure made up from concrete, or other, prefabricated components (2, 3) laid lengthways and crossways. The hollow spaces in this are filled, wholly or partially, with a heaped material which is pref. suitable for plant growth. The prefabricated components are coupled together and/or interconnected, in at least a friction and/or form-locked way. There may be one or more watering ducts (5) for plant maintenance, pref. laid on the crown of the wall. This is both effectively sound-insulating and aesthetically attractive.</p> |
