The travelling crane with an extendable outrigger is used in agriculture with the crane carriage track (5) located within the sloping roof of a building and extending along the building length. The crane has a rotatable lower par (8) with two horizontal guide rails (10) which lie paralle to one another. The upper end (11a) of the support frame (11) for the outrigger is displaceable radially along the guide rails relative to the crane carriage. The cable winch (16) is positioned on the support frame. The guide rails extend at least over the total width of the crane carriage and correspond in length to the length of the outrigger (15) plus the length of the support frame.
