Open: end spinning maintenance - has a mobile unit to clean and repair yarn breaks operated by monitors and time switches

The appts. is mobile unit travelling along a line of open-end spinning stations to give a programmed cleaning and yarn repair action. The programme control unit is opened by a switch system which registers a stoppage at a spinning station or which is operated by a step-by-step switch. The design gives a continuing cleaning action to reduce the incidence of yarn breakage, as well as repairing broken yarns when a stop signal is received.
