<p>The protective elbow encloses a cable being embedded in a concrete floor and prevents it being crushed by the reinforcing bars when the cement is poured over it. The elbow consists of two identical metal or plastic halves (3,4) each having a semicircular, or oval cross-section and each provided along one arm with hooked latches and along the other arm with projections. When the two halves are brought together their corresponding grooved edges mate and the latches of one engage the projections of the other.</p> |
