In a change-speed gearbox with an arrangement such that two gear stages (constant mesh gears 7, 8) arc used between an input shaft 4 and a parallel countershaft 6 and one gear stage is used between the countershaft 6 and a parallel output shaft 5 a gearbox range with at least three gearbox types A, B, C with different permissible input torques is made possible in that two K1, K2, H3 of the three gear stages have a step-up transmission ratio such that the total transmission ratio becomes lower from gearbox type to gearbox type as the input torque increases. This is achieved by only two of the stages having the same total number of teeth and two of the countershaft gearwheels having smaller numbers of teeth than the input shaft gearwheels. <IMAGE> |
