<p>Set of building elements is used in the construction of assembled room units, esp. of the demountable type, readily transportable and suitable for emergency housing, garages, storage units etc. The elements (1) are panel-shaped, pref. rectangular, with clamping battens (2) along one edge, undercut and protruding outwards. The length of these matches the height or width of the elements. There are also carrier elements, with two or more detachably joinable bolt units, serving as counterparts to a clamping batten and enclosing an undercut groover (7) to hold this. The clamping batten can be inserted from the side, and locked in position. Screws may be used for fixing the bolt untis together. Room units of any size can be quickly and easily assembled or dismantled without skilled labour.</p> |
