Dosing valve for liquids in open vessels - includes measurement space closable w.r.t. vessel interior by pressurised liq. acting against the force of a spring

A dosing valve intended for installation in the base of a vessel and serving to release known vols. of liq. from the vessel, includes a measurement space (I) which, when the valve is unactuated, is open to the inside of the vessel and closed w.r.t. the surroundings by a non-return valve. Space (I) can be closed w.r.t. the vessel interior by a movable element using a pressurised fluid which acts against the force of a spring. This element is part of the walls of a hollow body which can be enlarged by the pressurised fluid. An opening in the hollow body is closed by an overpressure valve, which can only open after the element has sealed (I) w.r.t. the vessel. When the overpressure valve opens, the opening communicates with (I). The dosing is carried out under absolutely sterile conditions. The vol. measured out is independent of temp. and viscosity of the liq. dose. No subsequent emptying and cleaning of lines is necessary.
