Motor may be constructed using externally, internally, side- or conically gear wheels. Fuel may be liquid or gaseous; recycling may be used as well as mixing different fuels. The T-shaped seals for the flanks of the teeth in the working area may be spring-, gas- and/or lubricant-loaded; so may the knife-edge, triangular and/or T-shape sealing strips in the adjustable closing plates along the sides of the wheels, with the separate split-tube angle seals. Fuel injection may also be arranged through these plates, in several different ways, and they may embody ignition devices. Alternatively the wheels may have hollow shafts for the admission of fuel, with distribution arrangements in the hubs. For high-performance motors, timing gears may be housed separately from the working wheels, and separately lubricated.
|
