Concentrating mirror for solar energy collector - has plastic materials air inflated toroidal ring with plastic membranes of reflective material

The mirror has a toroidal ring (1) of flexible plastic material which has an air inlet valve (2). Flexible plastic membranes (3) of highly reflective material have rubber outer edges (7) by which they are attached to both sides of the torroid. Between the two reflective membranes (3) two similar but transparent membranes (6) are attached to form inner walls. The membranes have air valves (4) by which air can be pumped into or released from the space (5) between the inner and outer membranes. The curvature of the mirror can thus be adjusted by variation of the air pressure. The whole mirror can be collapsed for simple transport and is partic. suitable for camp cooking.
