The pleat-forming curtain tape is provided with points of attachment for the curtain hooks, a draw cord (18) and a neat heading. In the case of deep folds the part (19) of the cord (18) which hangs loose in the fold zone (12) of the curtain is wound up in a coil (22) on the curtain hook (23), which has one support element (24). The excess draw cord is taken up throughout the length of the curtain heading and does not form an unsightly tassle at each end of the curtain. Since each fold can be drawn up individually it is easier to adjust the heading of the curtain. The actual support element of the curtain hook is pref. provided with several recesses (26) so that the length of the coul can be adjusted as required.
