The wind power electricity generating system has a vertical axis with at least two driving blades, each of the blades is made up of a number of concave elements (2, 3) arranged side by side. These elements are parallel to the vertical axis (4a). The concave elements (2, 3) have a length which depends upon the elements position from the axis (4a). Element lengths become longer the greater their distance from the axis (4a). The rotor of the system has at least two stabilising blades (6a, 6b). These blades (6a, 6b) are arranged for at least a part of their length to protect above the outermost driving blades element (2, 3"). The stabilising blades (6a, 6b) are concave in shape and are inclined with respect to the vertical axis.
|
