<p>An artificial kidney mach. has a mechanism for controlling two jaws which can be adjusted to squeeze the tube (5) through which the blood flows. One jaw (4) houses a transmitting device and the other jaw (3) houses a receiver (7). The first jaw (4) is raised and lowered, and is attached to a slider (10) in turn attached to a crank arrive (11, 12). This slider supports a second slider (15) with a spring (16) between. The second slider is moved by a cam disc. The crank arm (11) is mounted eccentrically on a crank disc (12) which is rotated manually by a control knob (14), whose rotation is limited by two end stops. Both sliders are connected by an arm (17).</p> |
