<p>The toboggan is for travelling down unprepared surfaces, particularly grass or snow, and comprises a wheeled chassis (4) with a cockpit for the driver. The two wheels (1a, 1b) are mounted at the front and rear, their centre lines coinciding with that of the chassis. The wheel length is greater than the height, and the wheels are of elliptical section, the front one slewing in a horizontal plane. Two ribs (16) can be formed on the surface of the front wheel, on opposite sides of and equidistant from the centre line, and there can be a single central rib (15) on the rear wheel.</p> |
