It is customary to combine into continuous form (201-202-200) the print output (2) from a rotary printing press, which may have the printed pages next to or following each other, by cutting and/or folding in such a way that the printed pages facing each other are in the correct order. The continuous print (201-202-200) thus produced is then fed to the folding unit where it is divided up by transverse cuts into parts, if necessary these parts being collected together, folded and successively delivered. The invention, however, calls for a winding device (9) with exchangeable reels (10) to be located downstream of the print feed, the winding device taking up sections of the print in the form of a coil. In one or more unwinding devices (14), the print is combined to give a multiple web containing substantially all parts of the end product, and finally divided up into appropiate units. |
