<p>A twin hydraulic circuit for two servo motors each operated independently by corresponding control valves, has a hysteresis arrangement built into one of the valves, which is interconnected with the other valve so that instability cannot occur, with one circuit affecting the other. This ensures that the operating pressure for both positions of the first valve is higher than the restoring pressure. The valve has a cylindrical valve member (32, 33) each end of its housing and two pistons (11, 12) between them, inside a hollow sleeve (6) with large diameter portions (6) controlling its inlet and outlet ports (5, 7, 9). These also communicate through chambers (40) at the ends with end outlets (36, 37) controlled by the valve members (32, 33) which are enclosed in cups (28) housing springs (26, 27) while the two pistons (11, 12) have a further spring (13) between them.</p> |
