<p>The invention relates to a method and a device for treating a nozzle body (2) for a fuel injection valve comprising a fuel inlet bore (7) which leads to a guide bore (4) for an injector needle (5). The cut nozzle base (2) is subsequently hardened by nitridation. In a subsequent step, a bar electrode (15) insulated in the area of the distal end, is inserted into the inlet bore (7) and an electrolyte solution is pumped through a channel that is defined by the guide bore (4) and the inlet bore (7). The bar electrode (15) is supplied with current and material from the superficial connecting layer in the orifice area of the inlet bore (7) to the guide bore (4), produced during nitridation, is electrochemically removed in a specific manner.</p> |
