The gear train is mounted on a fixed shaft (0) supported on bearing pedestals (AB). The driving wheels (P) has an internally toothed ring (E) which meshes with the pinion (T). The pinion (T) is mounted on the shaft (L) fixed to the wheel (V) which rotates on the shaft (0). The shaft (L) carries a second pinion (F) having a diameter equal to half that of the first pinion (T). This second pinion (F) meshes with and rolls around the fixed wheel (N) and in doing so causes the wheel (V) to rotate. The tangential force applied to the wheel (V) is thus twice the tangential force applied to the wheel (P).
