The equipment consists of hood (1) provided inside with helmet (2). The testing gas is supplied to the double-skinned helmet from gas cylinders (11) via control apparatus (10) and enters the helmet through the perforated inner skin. The control apparatus receives information in respect of gas concentration inside the helmet through pipe (20). Further piping (14) connects the face mask with the gas concentration measuring instrument (15) which is also connected with the control apparatus (10) by pipe (16) to achieve a concentration comparison in the measuring instrument (15).
