Knitter needle assembly - has sufficient room for push rods between needles and cylinder to knit loop pile fabrics

In the mounting assembly for the push rods in the needle cylinder of a knitting machine, the cylinder mantle is fitted with ribs to form grooves for them, together with the tilt sinkers pivoting on the mounting webs, while the needles between the webs slide on the outer surfacs of the ribs. The guide grooves in the mounting webs allow for >=1 push rod. The guide grooves are displaced radially to the cylinder axis w.r.t. the needles. Arrangement allows the knitter to develop patterned knit goods, partic. with pile loops, giving sufficient room for push rods between the needle and the cylinder axis.
