PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device etc. which enables wheels to be steered and achieves excellent safety even if a vehicle moves when controlling means for controlling an electric motor that steers the wheels is in a stop state.SOLUTION: A steering device 100 includes: an electric motor 110 which steers wheels 150 mechanically separated from a steering wheel 101; a control device 10 which controls driving of the electric motor 110 on the basis of the operation of the steering wheel 101; and switching means 180 which switches a state of the control device 10 between an operation state and a stop state. The switching means 180 switches the control device 10 to the operation state when obtaining a detection signal, which indicates that a vehicle moves or the vehicle is turned into a movable state, at the time that the control device 10 is in the stop state. |
