The joining arrangement is for junction point connection of wood or roof battens in which part of all the length of the pieces are embraced by the joining arrangement for fixing together. Several, similar rectangular pipe pieces are connected together by welding at two cutting edges. Two short cutting edges of one pipe piece can be so welded to the two short cutting edges of the piece to be joined on to it that the axes of the joined pieces are at right angles to each other. The axes can be equal so that a quadratic profile is formed.
