Walking float for use on water - has weighted keel at each side and hinged flaps to provide forwards only reactive thrust

The walking float is for use on the water and is used with ski sticks. It comprises a solid body of suitable material, the underside being provided with a hollow compartmented keel on each longitudinal side. These are weighted with water to prevent lateral movement. The foot is in a well on top, fixed to a hinged plate. Between the keels are flaps, these being in two parts. They are hinged together and also pivot between the keels. For a forwards movement, the flaps drop down and provide reactive thrust. On the rearwards movement, they fold together and offer no resistance.
