Loading-unloading unit for container lorry - has slide-in conveyor movable between roller paths on transfer station and loading surface

The lorry container loading unit is designed to facilitate rapid loading and unloading whether th e loading surface is accessible from below or not. A slide-in conveyor is movable to-and-fro on rollers from a first path of a transfer staton to a second path associated with the loading surface of the lorry. The second roller path is positioned on the floor of a depression in the loading surface and has a width less than that of the goods container. A lift unit is used to move the support surface of the slide-in conveyor which is in the depression from a position above the loading surface to a position below it and back again.
