The interior tent structure, esp. on an awning tent for a caravan, is for stiffening the tent under snow or wind loading and for heat insulation. The basic stage comprises supports (1), base beams (2) and roof carriers (3) with rafters (4). Sidewall stiffening and heat-insulating air space are provided by a stage comprising lattice stiffening with lengthways and cross beams, with foil covering. Further insulation and provision for windows and doors involve a third stage comprising panels of foamed plastics. For connection between tent (0, 2) and caravan (0, 1) there is a fourth stage comprising frame supports with tent strips. A fifth stage, providing antechamber and extension possibilities, involves partition walls with other components.
