The fresh grill has a charcoal heater (1) with bearing flanges at the ends which support the two perforated rollers (c). These have holes (d) to take up the grill spits (e). The position of these spits can be adjusted as required by swinging handles (f) and locking handles (g) so that the fish placed in the wooden grill spits can be brought closer or further away from the heat to allow the food to be cooked according to individual requirements. The holes in the opposing perforated rollers can be offset relative to each other so that when the spits are fully inclined towards each other they do not touch but remain evenly spaced from each other.
