<p>The equipment stores one or more rolls of strip material, e.g. wallpaper, plastic sheet, leather etc., having a shell-type frame. For each roll (11, 12) in the frame (10) a cutter is provided, with a guiding straight edge (15, 16) incorporating a groove (27 28) for a knife, parallel to the axis of the respective roll. The rolls can be accommodated in the frame with their axes offset from each other in the sideways direction and one above the other, while the straight edges are positioned one above the other at the levels of the runs of strip pulled off the respective rolls. The rolls can be so arranged that adjacent ones unroll in the same direction.</p> |
