<p>A measurement transducer is mounted in an IC engine. It is supplied with a power voltage and it delivers test values to an evaluation equipment. The electric currents are transmitted through spring steel strips (22) carrying electric conductors. The strips are connected at one end with parts (7) mounted in the piston (2), and at the other with parts (19) connected with the cylinder (1). The spring-steel strips are sufficiently flexible to accommodate the reciprocating motions of the piston. One end is rigidly fixed to the piston while the other end is rigidly fastened to some fixed part of the engine. Use of sliding contacts is avoided.</p> |
