<p>The equipment removes portions from flat material, particularly offcuts from flat filtration material during manufacture of filter pockets. After cutting out or notching the first and second parts of the material, they are separated by grippers and transported along divergent paths. The grippers are mounted upstream of feed and transport mechanism synchronised with them. They can have arms (GA) travelling round a track (UB1), while a feed and transport track (ZB) is provided for the flat material, in contact with the arm track. At the point of contact between the two tracks the arms are changed over from the open to the shut position. The transport track (ZB) travels around a drum (US) with suction holes (SO) on its periphery.</p> |
