<p>A hemostatic device comprising, a catheter having an elongated elastic shaft, an inflatable balloon adjacent a distal end of the shaft, and a sidearm adjacent a proximal end of the catheter. The device has a traction member comprising a retaining portion to receive the catheter shaft and sidearm, with the retaining portion being connected to an object to maintain the catheter shaft under selected tension.</p> |
