The single-port mixing valve for hot and cold water is worked by one hand, having in the housing (1), in addition to the passages leading to the mixing unit, an additional hot or cold-water supply passage (11). This leads to an additional stop valve (12) in the housing. This valve is connected via a passage (14) in the housing running between the first two supply passages to a water outlet passage (15) in the housing for an additional water union. The stop valve can be of the press-button type, fitting in cartridge form in a lateral boss (19) on the housing.
