<p>A method of producing briquettes comprising cold pressing at relatively low pressures of a homogeneous mixture consisting of at least a fibrous material which acts as both a filler and a binder together with metallic particles such as iron borings or other machine shop waste. The fibrous material is preferably paper in pulp form. The composition may include cement and/or additional material in pulverant form or dust form selected from coke, coal, limestone and fluospar.</p> |
