<p>Machine has platform (3) which supports a conveyor (11) driven by a motor (12). The conveyor (11) brings the slabs (10) underneath brushes (8) which are mounted on a beam (1). The beam (1) is attached at each end to a vertically mounted crankshaft. The crankshafts are driven from a motor (9) through pulleys (4) (5) (6) and belts (7) so that an oscillating motion is imparted to the beam (1). As the beam oscillates, water is sprayed onto the slabs from a pipe (13). This type of brush drive is more effective than rotating cylindrical brushes or disc brushes.</p> |
