PURPOSE:To make it possible to transmit signals invariably in an excellent state by automatically and perfectly compensating line characteristics of a transmission line by controlling the equalization value of frequency characteristics to a received signal by the output of each comparator circuit in a variable equalizer. CONSTITUTION:Transmitter CAM sands out signals to receiver CCU through coaxial cable L and auxiliary signal generating circuits SG1 and SG2 supply transmitter CAM with auxiliary signals of the reference frequency and high frequency. The outputs of circuits SG1 and SG2 are multiplexed by a transmitting signal; in receiver CCU, comparator circuits CP1 and CP2 extract auxiliary signals of respective frequencies and compare then with the reference voltage, and variable equalizer circuit EQ has its equalization value of frequency characteristics to a received signal controlled by outputs of circuits CP1 and CP2. Consequently, line characteristics of the transmission line are compensated automatically and perfectly, so that signals can be transmitted invariably in an excellent state. |
