Fibre reinforced water-bound moulded materials are continuously produced in a process where wet mix and reinforcements are placed on two endless conveyors. The first layer is applied on to the second by a roller, and the combination is passed to a mould and finally cured. Several reinforcing webs plus material are fed to each conveyor and part of the water from each is removed by suction, so that reinforcement is distributed throughout each of the two layers. Optimal fibre distribution is obtd.. Fibres from thermoplastic films are used.
