PURPOSE:To obtain a long-life and low-cost power source unit by switching trigger operations of a SCR for voltage stabilization by remote control in a unit where power ON/OFF control of a TV receiver is performed by remote control. CONSTITUTION:The pulsating current obtained by rectifying an AC power source by 1 is applied to the anode of SCR2 for voltage stabilization, and the pulsating current taken out from the cathode is smoothed by filter circuit 3 and is supplied to load circuit 4. When the AC power source is applied, no trigger signal is applied to the gate of SCR2, and SCR2 is turned off, and no power is supplied to the load. When a remote control signal is generated, it is received by photo diode 11 and receiving circuit 12, and transistor Tr15 of a switching circuit is turned off. Then, a trigger signal is applied from diode 8 to the gate of SCR6 of trigger circuit 5, and SCR2 becomes conductive at a prescribed conduction angle, and a prescribed DC power source is supplied to circuit 4. As a result, the unit is long-life because no relay is required for power ON/OFF control of the power source, and the unit is low-cost because the SCR for power source stabilization is used commonly. |
