The ski surfer enables inexperienced people to travel down ski slopes, without the danger attached to skiing. The surfer consists of a board (1) onto which four runners (2) are attached by spacer pieces (4). The front two runners are closer together than the back ones and the front two ski runners (2) are mounted on a pivoting plate (3) which is joined by a steering column (6) to the platform (1). At the back of the platform (1) there is a brake pedal (7) which acts on a brake flap (8) which bites into the snow when applied.
