The tooth brush consists of a handle (1) and an adjustable head which can pivot around an axis perpendicular to the axis of the handle. The head can carry a brush, which can be convex, or it can carry a cleaning wire or tape, or rubber elements to massage the gums. The head has an opening (2) in which the pivot coupling of corresponding shape fits. This can be cylindrical, with blind openings, or square with grooves. A retractable rod (3) fits into these grooves or openings, to hold the pivot in any position desired.
