<p>The system is used for controlling doors in lifts. It stops driven units for the doors sliding in a straight line in their closed and/or open position. In the event of drive failure, the doors can be moved by hand, by overcoming retentive force. Use is made of a support member (12) and arresting member (14), one on a fixed carrier and the other on the moving part. When the door is moved into an end position, the arresting member is transferred through the support member, against return force, to an active seting. Here it tends to hold the moving part permanently in the end position defined by the stop (34, 36) Construction is simplified, with non-self-locking drives acceptable.</p> |
