PURPOSE:To develop the cold-rolled steel plate production process which is capable of achieving the considerable simplification of descaling process and does not require electrolytic cleaning process by directly cold-rolling the steel plate which has been hot-rolled and deposited with scale and removing the scale through acid treatment then annealing said plate. CONSTITUTION:The steel plate which has been hot-rolled and is held deposited with scale is directly cold-rolled to produce the steel plate of the black surfaces coated with fine power scale. Since this black fine powder scale is thinner is thickness and is more finely pulverized than hot-rolled scale, the percolation of an acid solution by acid treatment in the scale is extremely easy. The scale may be pickled and removed extremely easily by inorganic acid such as HCl and H2SO4 and organic acid such as formic acid. Finally, it is annealed, whereby the steel plate of superior surface characteristic is obtained. With this method, the pickling treatment is extremely simple and there is no need for electrolytic cleaning process, thus the cold-rolled steel plate may be produced at low cost. |
