The arrangement comprises a thin-walled metal lining (12C) inside, and at a distance from, a thick-walled housing & an exhaust port(12a) from each cylinder, whereby the lining of the exhaust manifold runs from each exhaust port to a reaction chamber inside the lining and each exhaust port(12a) is provided with a thin-walled lining in a heat-resistant material with a low thermal capacity. The port lining(12c) connected with the manifold is arranged inside, and at a distance from the internal port wall. The reaction chamber is double-walled and forms a 1st. (20) and 2nd. (21) chamber surrounded by a 3rd. (22).
