The apparatus has a guide housing (7) with a charging aperture situated at the top, in which housing is provided a substantially horizontally operating conveyor slide (8) with cover plate (12). In the advanced operating position of the conveyor slide (8), the cover plate (12) closes the charging aperture and is thus exposed to the material to be additionally charged, which because of its composition - concrete blocks, rocks, metal objects - can result in damage to the cover plate (12) and operating faults. In order to absorb the stresses produced by falling material or material to be additionally charged without destruction or permanent distortion, despite a simple and cost-effective structure, it is proposed that the cover plate (12) be designed to be resiliently movable in the vertical direction, preferably as a support which bears freely at its ends. <IMAGE> |
