The frame is for fitting to the wheels of a car for running on snow. It has a body (3) with three equally spaced radial arms (5,6,7) formed by tubular parts. Each has a rod, the free end of which ends in an arc shaped crampon (31,34,39) fitting across the tread. One rod (28) is fixed to the arm and the others slide in the tubes. The body has a threaded part in which is screwed a threaded rod, on the end of a knob (12). The other end has a foot (37) joined to two chains (36,41) fixed to the sliding rods.
