METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING PACKING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a dichromatic film by joining two kind of vinyl chloride resins varied in color bing injected through two ports of an inflation die with two extruding cylinders without use of fusing process. CONSTITUTION:Resin passages 11 and 11'' and a tapered cone 6 engraved with tapered grooves 12 and 12' following the passages are fitted into the body of an inflation die 3 to match at a position at which resin passages 10 and 10' communicate to resin passages 11 and 11' of the tapered cone. A colorless vinyl chloride melted is fed in with an extruding cylinder 1 while a colored vinyl chloride melted is fed in with an extruding cylinder 2 separately. The colorless and colored vinyl chlorides melted sent up through tapered grooves 12 and 12' rise through an annular clearance 13 and contact each other along the rims thereof. When the two resins come from the clearance, a cylindrical body is obtained combining the colorless and colored ones in proportion to the extrusion amount.
