A braking-warning-signal system with a warning-signal generator (2), an actuating device (4) and an indicating device (6) has an inductive coupling device (coupling element 12, coupling medium 8 and uncoupling element 14). By means of said coupling device, a warning signal, in dependence on the spring-loaded position of the coupling medium with respect to the coupling element (induction coil 12) or the uncoupling element (induction coil 14), can be generated, in proportion with the induced stress in the induction coil (14) or in dependence on the looped-back inductance, defining frequency in an oscillator (16), of the coupling element (12), corresponding to an indicating flasher frequency or with a time-delay circuit (28, R2, 30) and can be given out via the indicating device (6), in particular via a top pair (42) of brake lights. <IMAGE>
