A method and appliances are proposed for obtaining mixtures of a primary liquid and at least one secondary liquid in predetermined proportions, while the dynamic pressure (back-pressure) and the mass flow of the primary liquid change. The appliance has a continuous duct, to which the primary liquid is fed and which has a first section with a diminishing cross-section. Adjoining this section there is a second section whose cross-section is essentially equal to the smallest cross-section of the first section and to which the secondary liquid is fed. Adjoining the second section there may be a third section whose cross-section increases again in the flow direction.
