PURPOSE:To obtain a compact, highly reliable and low-cost heat-sensitive recorder enabling pattern indication, by adding a recording head motion controlling means to the heat-sensitive recorder. CONSTITUTION:When a lower limit input signal 2 is inputted in an above-signal level voltage generating scanner 11, the scanner 11, starting from the signal level voltage of the lower limit input signal 2, generates the level signal voltage corresponding to each recording head sequentially from the low one at a fixed timing. The output thereof is inputted in a comparison circuit 12 to be compared with the voltage of an upper limit input signal 1, and when it coincides with an upper limit input level, a reset signal is delivered to the scanner 11 and thereby the same operation is repeated over again. Meanwhile, an output from the scanner 11 is inputted to a multihead drive controlling part 14 through the intermediary of a hold circuit 13, the recording heads are thereby driven and a part between the lower limit input signal and the upper limit input signal is colored. By this constitution, the compact, highly reliable and low-cost heat- sensitive recorder enabling the pattern indication is obtained. |
