1. A method of treating inflammation that is associated with a muscle wasting disorder selected from the group consisting of cachexia, dermatomyositis, inclusion body myositis and polymyositis, the method comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of Formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, enantiomer, or stereoisomer thereof, wherein:R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, F, CN, —NH(C1-C3 alkyl), —N(C1-C3 alkyl)2, —NH(C(O)C1-C3 alkyl), —N(C(O)C1-C3 alkyl)2, —C(O)H, —C(O)C1-C3 alkyl, —C(O)OC1-C3 alkyl, —C(O)NH2, —C(O)NH(C1-C3 alkyl), —C(O)N(C1-C3 alkyl)2, and —O—C1-C3 alkyl;W1 is NH and W2 is selected from null, O, or NH;- - - - - represents an optional bond that when present requires that Q is null;a and c are each independently H, CH3, —OCH3, —OCH2CH3, or C(O)OH;b is H, CH3, C(O)OH, or O—Z;d is H or C(O)OH;each n, o, p, and q is independently 0 or 1;each Z is H orwith the proviso that there is at least onein the compound;each r is independently 2 or 3;each s is independently 5 or 6;each t is independently 0 or 1;Q is null, C(O)CH3, Z,e is H or any one of the side chains of the naturally occurring amino acids;W3 is null, 0, or —N(R)—;R is H or C1-C3 alkyl; andT is H, C(O)CH3, or Z. |
