Ear pad (1) for a headphone earpiece whose electro-acoustic transducer or the housing (4) of the latter has an approximately centrally disposed support element (2) projecting in the in-use position against the ear of the user, which support element can be suspended in the depression of the earpiece. The one-piece ear pad (1) has a capsule-shaped part (3) enclosing the electro-acoustic transducer and a frustoconical or similar-shaped part (1a), mounted on the outer front surface of the capsule-shaped part (3), into which the support element (2) disposed on the electro-acoustic transducer or the housing (4) of the latter is inserted to its full extent. <IMAGE>
