The invention concerns a stand for notice boards, especially for carrying so-called flip charts, which consist of a number of sheets of paper bound together at the upper edge which as they are being used are flipped over the top edge and laid against the back of the chart, which notice board comprises a rigid frame piece, such as a panel, which is carried by a strip placed horizontally against a wall, which co-operates with arms fastened against the frame piece. Known stands according to the above description contain two arms placed at the top edge of the frame piece. Obviously, when turning a page onto the back side of the flip chart the page must be lifted up and between the two top arms and this is hard to do without the person who is manipulating the whole thing changing his grip on the paper. This difficulty is eliminated in that the frame piece 2 at the upper end has a single arm 3, arranged on the frame piece without turning and situated in the direction of one of the vertical side edges, which at its outer end has two points of engagement 6 with the strip 1, situated alongside each other, while the lower end of the frame piece 2 is supported by at least one pair of arms 4 against the wall surface beneath the strip. <IMAGE> |
